The design half. A product designer who makes things people actually want to use, where every screen earns its place and nothing feels generic.
Genten (原点) is Japanese for origin point, the (0,0) on a graph where every axis meets, the place everything else is measured from.
It's where we start every product: not at the feature list, but at the raw idea underneath it.
The web is filling up with AI slop: products churned out fast, cheap, and soulless. Generic interfaces, hollow decisions, "good enough" shipped at scale.
It works, technically. It just doesn't matter to anyone.
We started Genten to build the opposite: meaningful, human-centered products, and to actually get them in front of the people they're for. Not just code that runs, but a product with a point, and a path to market.
We're two people, not a faceless agency.
The design half. A product designer who makes things people actually want to use, where every screen earns its place and nothing feels generic.
The engineering half. A full-stack developer with real engineering depth, he's the one who turns an idea into something solid, fast, and built to last.
Between us: the full arc of a product, from first sketch to live and growing.
AI is a tool. A sharp one we use every day.
Decides what's worth building and how it should feel. The judgment, the taste, the calls only a person can make.
Moves fast and handles the grind. Sharp, tireless, exact, but only ever as good as the hand that guides it.
That's the difference you can feel in the final product, even if you can't name it.
Tell us what you're building. We'll help you start in the right place.
